Visiting Assistant Professor of Rhetoric and Media Studies (Full-time, (2) One year positions)

The Department of Rhetoric and Media Studies at Willamette University seeks full-time visiting assistant professor in rhetoric or media studies. The teaching load is five or six classes per year; applicants should expect to teach Persuasion, Propaganda and the Mass Media; and Public Speaking. Applicants should demonstrate teaching excellence and a commitment to continued research and publication.

Qualifications: Rank and Appointment: Visiting Assistant Professor (PhD) or Visiting Instructor (ABD).

The seven-member Department of Rhetoric and Media Studies offers a robust major, and offers coursework spanning sub-fields and qualitative methodologies.
