Network Production Intern

Retirement Living TV informs, involves, and inspires adults 55+ by creating programming specifically for them. Some of the topics showcased include health, lifestyle, finance and politics and often incorporates engaging stories about ordinary people who lead extraordinary lives. As the new voice of a generation largely ignored by the television industry, Retirement Living TV not only changes the way adults 55+ watch TV, but will also help transform the way they live their lives.

Network Productions touches every part of the network and is the support structure of the network. We produce everything from specials to short segments and we are the home of all the show pilots for the network.

Job Summary:
Interns will rotate through the aspects of production from beginning to end, and even reversioning completed projects. Interns will be paired with numerous producers throughout their internship. Their role is to assist the producers with all of the concurrently running projects at Network Productions. Interns will be helping in the field, the studio, with legal binders, assisting production management, observing edits, writing, and other tasks as our productions require.

Compensation: University Credits

Education & Experience:
The ideal candidate is a mass communications or media major and possess a keen interest in television production. No experience is needed but we strongly suggested that applicants have a working knowledge of the foundations of television production.

Requirements:
The intern should be able to work 10 to 20 hours a week with possible weekend shoots. A good candidate is someone who pays attention to detail, is highly organized, posses a deadline mentality, is very dependable, can adapt to working in a high-paced environment, is willing to be flexible and has good sense of humor.
