Short Description: Cutting off the Hydra Heads of ACH Wire Fraud is the first in a series of three webinars presented by Berry, Dunn, McNeil & Parker on the topics of IT security, business process management, and technology planning for the MEEC community.
The use of the Automated Clearing House (ACH) network for electronic payments is currently a multi-billion dollar a year industry. As this network continues to become more widely used the occurrence of ACH fraud has also begun to rise. During this webinar, participants will learn about ACH wire fraud, its implications to institutions, security best practices, and tips on what institutions can do to protect themselves from this type of fraud.
This session will be presented by Eigen Heald, an IT security professional and Manager at Berry, Dunn, McNeil & Parker. Eigen holds numerous relevant industry certifications, including Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CEGIT), and GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA), among others. Eigen earned her Master’s degree in Information Assurance (MsIA) from Norwich University and is a member of ISACA and ISSA.
