Taming the Wild, Wild West of BYOD

Whether a district implements a formal BYOD program or not, students and personnel are bringing their own devices to school. Jonathan Kidwell, will discuss how your network can assist with taming the Wild West of Wireless and will discuss some of the IT-related preparatory measures that successful districts have undertaken to create a device-agnostic "anytime, anywhere, any device" environment. Included topics will be overcoming structural issues for wireless coverage, and scaling for multiple student-owned device.
