The Department of Music presents the UMBC Symphony Orchestra under the direction of E. Michael Richards.
7:30 pm, Fine Arts Recital Hall. Admission is free.
The program will feature the Shostakovich Symphony No. 5, Op. 47; the Nielsen Flute Concerto, featuring student soloist Krisztina Der, winner of the UMBC Symphony Concerto Competition; and excerpts from Puccini's Tosca orchestrated by Caterina Calderoni featuring Lorriana Markovic as Tosca and Thomas King as Scarpia.
