Linux Login Server Upgrades

The linux login servers are in the process of being upgraded to our wacky build of RedHat Enterprise Linux 3. Linux1 & 2 are complete, linux3 is currently having it's disk built and will be on-line soon. Please read on for caveats and whathaveyous.

Please be careful not to build /usr/local / emt software on these systems yet. We have way-to-many redhat < el3 boxes out in the wild, so things built still need to be "compatible."

We're going to probably have to freeze a copy of the i386_linux24 tree for folks that are still running < el3 before we build stuff native. Stupid linux. Stupid glibc. Stupid stupid stupid. Fricking stuff build on Solaris10 will run on Solaris8...
