The Translator will be the 2010 campus book

The Translator by Daoud Hari has been selected for the New Student Book Experience at UMBC. This book describes Hari's years growing up in Sudan and chronicles his work as a translator for journalists and human rights workers. All incoming students will be expected to read The Translator and participate in campus discussions during Welcome Week in August. The book is available in the campus bookstore.
