Walkins Hours & Appointment Instructions

Students are expected to have a working knowledge of the information on the website prior to coming to Walk-In Hours or making Appointments, so that more-in-depth and robust discussions can take place in person.

WALKINS:

Walk-in hours are reserved for current UMBC students who are interested in pursuing medical, dental, optometry, podiatry, or veterinary school, and are offered are on a first-come, first-served basis. A typical Walk-In session lasts no more than 15 minutes.

No pre-registration is needed prior to visiting Walk-In Hours. However, due to limited staff availability during Fall 2013, we ask that students of Freshman standing review the PreMedical and PreDental Advising web site thoroughly, and hold their questions until the Mandatory Group Advising Workshops scheduled later in the semester.

More information about walkins is available at http://www.umbc.edu/premed/medical_advising.php.
