Quick Questions & Appointments
Current UMBC students and UMBC alumni have several options when they need pre-professional advising. Pre-medical, pre-dental, pre-optometry, pre-podiatry, and pre-veterinary students are able to consult with Ms. Roelke, Health Professions Advising Coordinator, via:
Quick Question sessions (15 minutes)
Appointments (30 minutes)
Before accessing services, students are expected to have a working knowledge of the information on the office website. Please be sure you read the office website which provides comprehensive pre-professional information. Your question might already be answered on the website!
For questions which are not answered on the website, current UMBC students and UMBC alumni can: 1) email their questions to Ms. Roelke at anytime or 2) pre-register for a Quick Question session or Appointment via the online booking service.
The office has launched a new, online appointment booking service for Spring 2014 and beyond. There is no longer an appointment book at the front desk. The old appointment notebook has been eliminated. In addition, "Walkin Hours" have been transformed into Quick Question sessions. Issues which students would previously bring to "Walkin Hours" are now handled via Quick Question sessions.
