Ph.D. student Cheryl Camillo, a Senior Researcher at Mathematica Policy Research, has authored an issue brief, "Implementing Eligibility Changes under the Affordable Care Act: Issues Facing State Medicaid and CHIP Programs." Her analysis, for the State Health Access Reform Evaluation Center (SHARE), evaluates the changes that states will need to make in Medicaid and CHIP eligibility under the Affordable Care Act (ACA) in order to ensure that the new eligibility determination and renewal processes for these programs are effective. The report is the first in a series of three briefs, the second two of which will be released in the coming weeks.
