In the News: Don Norris and George LaNoue
Donald F. Norris commented on Governor O'Malley's decision to call a special General Assembly session in August to vote on a proposal to allow a new casino in Prince George's County and add table games such as blackjack and roulette to the gambling choices in Maryland.
George LaNoue was quoted in a Chronicle of Higher Education article about the role of affirmative action in this year's presidential race. The article discusses the Fisher v. University of Texas at Austin case currently before the Supreme Court. The case challenges the university's use of race in admissions.
