Public policy MPP student Bess Keller wrote an op-ed in the Baltimore Sun about the fate of a Baltimore City school garden: "Harvest of disappointment: Good intentions weren't enough to make a garden thrive at one Baltimore school."

Don Norris was quoted in a Columbia Patch story about expanding Route 32: "Poll: Should MD 32 Expand to Four Lanes Through Clarksville?" He also commented to the Baltimore Sun about the aftermath of passage of the referendum to expand gambling in Maryland: "Lawmakers who backed gambling look now to collect."
