Training for Academic Advisors

A new SA Advising Center will be available for all academic advisors soon. The Advising Center is a one stop location for all student advising records. There are three ways that you can learn how to use the new Advising Center; Lunch & Learn demonstration, hands-on ILT-training, and online video tutorials. While you are welcome to take both the Advising Center Lunch & Learn and the Using the Advising Center workshops, you are not required to do so. The online tutorials will be available via the Faculty & Staff Centers in myUMBC in October 2009. Please select the learning modality that best suits your learning needs.

Below is a summary of the classroom training events. Please register for training via www.umbc.edu/training.
