RMF is looking for prospective mechanical engineering students interested in a paid intership/co-op position to work closely with engineers in the design of mechanical systems for Power Plants (including chilled water and boiler plants) and Infrastructure projects. The prospective employee will be responsible for the selection and specification of boilers, chillers, pumps, controls, heat exchange and process equipment, fuel handling equipment, coal handling equipment and other power plant mechanical equipment. The prospective employee will also assist in the preparation of P&IDs, specifications, calculations, cost estimates, shop drawing review, and perform field inspections. AutoCAD experience is preferred but not required. Students who have between two and five semesters of coursework remaining are eligible for this position.
