This position is responsible for creating and/or maintaining software applications for a product or family of products. Performs non-complex modification, testing and debugging tasks. Assists with analysis related to software design and development and debugging or problem solving. Assists in evaluating impact of software performance, and recommends changes to software designers. Under close supervision, relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the tasks assigned.

Some programming experience in languages such as C, C++, Java is

The Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) Fellows Internship Program is designed to introduce Maryland’s most promising college students to the rewards and challenges of working within Maryland’s integrated transportation system. Interns can gain experience in policy development, marketing, international relations, computer networking, engineering, planning and financing, public relations, public administration, neighborhood conservation and in many other areas. Placement opportunities are available at the MD Aviation Administration, MD Port Administration, MD Transit Administration, Motor Vehicle Administration, State Highway Administration, MD Transportation Authority, and The Secretary’s Office that serves as Headquarters for the MDOT.

Participating student earn $3,500 during eight weeks this summer (June 11 to August 3) and $10.00 per hour in a part-time internship beyond the eight weeks either during the Summer 2007, Fall 2007, Winter 2008 and/or Spring 2008 semester.

McCormick & Co. needs Flavor Delivery Intern

McCormick has a 5-6 month internship opportunity available for a Flavor Delivery Lab Technician in our Technical Innovation Center (TIC). This intern will be responsible for an extensive study of multi-component liquid systems phase behavior for use as flavor carriers, including the identification of initial key phases followed by formulation and manipulation to completely characterize the system phase diagram. The work for this project will include preparing, evaluating and recording these formulas and plotting the completed phase diagrams in graphical form. QUALIFICATIONS:Major in Chemistry(strongly preferred), Biochemistry, or Chemical Engineering, third year students who have completed physical chemistry coursework; second year students will also be considered. lead the development of an online tracking system for church-state separation violations.
