Digital Entertainment Conference at UMBC

The UMBC Game Developer's Club is proud to be hosting the second annual UMBC
Digital Entertainment Conference (DEC). The mission of the DEC is to bring
students face-to-face with the game industry. This is an exciting
opportunity to learn about how games get made and how you can get a job
making them!

This year, DEC will be held on Saturday, April 28th. The conference will
take place in Lecture Hall 5 in the Engineering Building. There will be
seven industry speakers from four local game companies. Feature speakers
include Don Goddard (Technical Director, Breakaway Games), Dave Inscore (Art
Director, Big Huge Games) and Barry Caudill (Executive Producer, Firaxis).
The day will be broken into three sections Art (10:30 AM - 12:00 PM),
Programming (1:30 - 3:45 PM) and Production / Design (4:00 - 5:30 PM). The
event is open to the public and admission is free.
