Service Project!

UMBC Serves - Service Project
September 1, 2007
9 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Meet at Harbor Hall Cafe

Join new and returning UMBC students for an amazing volunteer experience
out on Gwyenn’s Falls Trail just minutes from campus. As part of the
Welcome Week program, you will be learning more about the local community
through volunteerism. We will be working to help prevent soil erosion
within the trail as well as some basic trail maintenance.

Donuts and lunch are provided. Dress is casual, but we suggest that you
wear comfortable, close-toed shoes and clothing that you don't mind
getting dirty! Long pants may be preferable as well. Be sure to arrive
to Harbor Hall Café no later than 9:00am rain or shine! To sign up please
email givingback@umbc.edu or call (410) 455-3457. Walk-ins are welcome,
but sign-ups are preferred to help ensure appropriate transportation and
food. Students under the age of 18 should contact Jordanna Spencer,
Graduate Coordinator for Service and Volunteerism, for instructions
regarding permission forms at spence2@umbc.edu.
