PAID Civil Rights Intern Needed for the Federal Highway Administration

$10.00 plus per hour, Part-time

Summary of Duties
- Develop and apply knowledge of procedures, policies and Federal regulations to provide problem solving guidance to managers.
- Track and analyze changes in Civil Rights laws, regulation and policies to brief and assist the Civil Rights Program Manager to train managers, State and local officials.
- Provide assistance with coordinating training and technical assistance efforts, event planning, responding to requests for information and gathering data on best practices to have available as needed.
- Provide support in being responsive to the needs of the Civil Rights Specialist and supporting activities that help build capacity as it relates to enhancing program expertise of the Division office, State DOT and other customers.
- Promote the awareness of Civil Rights Programs, products and services.
