PAID Human Resources Intern Needed at CBO

The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) is a small nonpartisan agency that provides economic and budgetary analysis to the Congress. The Human Resources Department seeks a professional intern with a strong work ethic to assist in various areas of human resources. The successful candidate will report to the Human Resources Director and provide support as part of a 4-person HR shop. Duties are varied and include applicant processing, recruitment support, personnel records management, and special projects.

Salary range is $12.00-$19.00 per hour based on academic level and relevant experience. In addition the agency provides a transportation subsidy. This is a temporary position that is expected to last approximately three to nine months. Full-time employment is preferable but candidates who can commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week may be considered. Housing and relocation expenses are not provided.
