Chemical Defense Intern will assist in laboratory that conducts studies to generate and test enzymes capable of sequestering and detoxifying organophosphorus nerve agents in vivo. We employ a multidisciplinary approach to this work including molecular biology, biochemistry, Western blotting, enzyme kinetics, surface plasdmon resonance, isothermal titration calorimetry, gas chromotography mass spectrometry, and in vivo analyses including preliminary safety and efficacy assessments. Excellent technical environment located in Aberdeen, MD.
