$500 Scholarship Available
The Links, Incorporated is one of the Nation’s oldest and largest volunteer service organizations of extraordinary women who are committed to enriching, sustaining and ensuring the culture and economic survival of African Americans and other persons of African ancestry.
The Links, Inc. will award one $500 scholarship to a deserving UMBC student this spring in recognition of the accomplishments and contributions of Jacqueline C. Hrabowski.

Selection Criteria
The scholarship recipient will be recognized based upon her/his commitment to improving the lives of at-risk urban youth through academic studies and community service activities.
• Candidate should be a full-time, degree seeking student at UMBC, enrolled in her/his junior or senior year with a 3.0 cum GPA
• Candidates will be required to submit a resume and an unofficial transcript
• Candidates should also submit a 500-word essay explaining actions that she/he has participated in that have contributed to improving the lives of youth in Baltimore City.
