Transmission Engineer Interns are a HOT Commodity at Constellation

Location is only one of the perks of being an intern at Constellation Energy Commodities Group. The experience is the best benefit! Constellation is seeking engineering and IT majors (both undergraduate and graduate) to apply to the Transmission Engineer position. An electrical engineering focus is preferred.

This position is located in Downtown Baltimore. The responsibilities of the Intern includes the assisting with the gathering and review of input data and system modeling assumptions necessary for load flow analyses and the interpretation and communication of results. The Intern will also assist with performing load flow analyses for the various regional electric power markets in the U.S. The Intern will act as an interface within and external to the Marketing and Trading organization on transmission related matters. The Intern should be able to apply knowledge of transmission, along with the rules of the wholesale power markets, to provide support to the Marketing and Trading organizations. Applicants should have a basic understanding of load flow analysis, LMP determination and market rules for their region of responsibility.
