Constellation Energy is seeking outstanding undergrad & graduate
students for PAID intern positions in our IT department over the summer of 2008 in both
Baltimore and Houston.
The internship program is approximately 10-12 weeks in duration in our
Baltimore or Houston Offices. This internship is a PAID position.
Candidates should be self motivated individuals with a desire to apply
their class work to real business, IT or Quantitative situations. This
is not a training program. Candidates will work on actual business
problems and develop practical skills through hands on activities.
Basic Qualifications
Ideal candidates will have the following experience and skills:
* Undergraduates - students pursuing a college degree in IT,
CIS, CS, Engineering or other business-related field are preferred but
other degrees will be considered.
* Graduate students should be working toward an MBA,
Engineering, or other business-related advanced degree.
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills with working knowledge of
statistics, probability theory, derivatives, and risk measurement a
plus.

* Solid communications skills, both verbal and written.
* Competence with various computer programs/applications used to develop
spreadsheets, reports, and presentation materials.
* Ability to work effectively in a team oriented environment.
* Knowledge of principles in the electricity and fossil fuels industries
is a plus but not required.
