BEST BUDDIES SEEKS SUMMER INTERN

Join a team of dedicated professionals who work hard to enhance the lives of people with intellectual disabilities by providing opportunities for friendship and socialization. This 12-week summer internship (June 1 through August 22) is perfect for anyone interested in disability awareness, public relations and communications. The intern will assist the Program Manager in maintaining the Best Buddies Maryland Citizens Program, a community-based program for adults with and without disabilities. The intern will interact with participants, plan events, raise funds, maintain databases and recruit volunteers. This internship will provide a flexible schedule, friendly work environment, hands-on learning experience and competitive stipend upon completion.
