SRA needs software engineering interns this summer

Apply via UMBCworks!

SRAInternational, Inc. in Columbia, MD is interested
in sponsoring up to three software engineering interns for the Summer of 2008.
All applicants must be US citizens, and willing to apply for a security clearance.

Eligible undergraduate students must be finishing their Junior year with one year to graduation, and graduate students must also be approximately one year away from graduation. Successful completion of the internship could lead to further employment opportunities after graduation.

Candidates should have a background in computer science, electrical engineering, or applied mathematics. Experience in any
of the following technologies are relevant:
Java, JEE, C/C++, Web Development, databases, Natural Language Processing, Semantic Web, embedded systems,
Linux kernel development, device drivers,
high-performance computing, digital signal processing, data visualization, network analysis, or network visualization.

The internship would run for approximately two months, on a flexible schedule tailored to the individual needs of the candidate. If
you are looking for an excellent chance to work in the “real-world” and build your resume before graduation, this will be a rewarding experience. We will pair you with an experienced mentor who will provide challenging tasking and knowledgeable guidance to get you off to a good start in
the industry.
