Responsibilities
Assist in the design, deployment and testing of new/existing JAVA and web applications. Duties will include:
Work with internal IT Application development resources to develop test
plans for performance, system and acceptance testing of new/existing JAVA and web applications.
Refine and implement non-functional requirements for new/existing JAVA and web applications.
Implement design changes to new/existing JAVA and web applications.
Work with various IT Application development resources/groups to resolve
issues with new/existing JAVA and web applications system testing
Qualifications
Required
Must be a student enrolled in an accredited college or university at
either the junior/senior level (undergraduate) or graduate level
GPA of 3.25 or above
Majors: Business, Human Resources, IT or related field
Strong verbal communications and good writing and editorial skills
Strong analytical and information organizational skills
Must be able to work independently to accomplish assigned tasks
Experience using Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint,
Access) and the Internet
Preferred
Experience with Internet technologies (desirable)
Programming skills: JAVA, Jython or other scripting tool (desirable)
General systems experience: Windows or Unix operating system and/or Shell scripting
Good inter-personal skills
IT industry interaction/exposure as it relates to candidate's major area
of study
