VBP OutSourcing, Inc., a full-service marketing firm located in Glen Burnie, is searching for Graphic Design and Marketing interns. We are a small company with big plans for the future. We provide graphic design, publication design, website development, marketing, public relations, copywriting, and event coordination services to our clients. The internship is unpaid, but candidates who impress us will definitely be considered for a design/marketing position in the future. The hours will be very flexible and there is no minimum number of hours we have in mind. As long as you're the ultimate intern, we're willing to work something out! We'll even consider short term, like during a break between programs.
What you need for this position: The desire to obtain experience in a real marketing/design firm. Experience with graphic software, innovative thinking and a great speaking voice and personality. You don't have to be a pro at these, but we would like to see flashes of brilliance in at least three of these areas. Extra points will be given for previous hands-on marketing experience.
What you will receive from this position: The opportunity to work with a variety of clients. Our recent projects include a series of brochures for a financial services company, book design for a local author, an updated corporate logo for an international shipping company, identity development and publication design for a new IT firm, and website development for clients as varied as a hair salon to a government contractor. Think of the additions to your portfolio! You'll also receive our gratitude and the opportunity to list us as references since we can't pay you.
