The Shriver Center is looking for a Graphic Design intern for the Summer of 2008. Assignments will include the design of branded marketing materials for a number of different Shriver Center programs and initiatives, including but not limited to Internships and Co-ops, Service Learning and Scholar Programs. Duties will include the creation of billboards to be displayed on campus, flyers, posters, brochures, booklets and other marketing materials. Creativity and the ability to think outside the box are a must, as the intern will have the opportunity to create and implement new marketing methods and ideas.

Requirements and Additional Details:
• Student should have access to or their own computer and software
• Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator is a must
• At least be enrolled in Graphic Design III (completion of GDIV required to be eligible for credit via ART 494)
• Web design skills desirable but not required
• Should be able to work 20 hours per week for a period of 12 weeks, starting no later than June 2
• Intern will be able to work from home a majority of the time
• Student will have opportunity to continue the internship through the fall semester if mutually agreed upon
• Student will be paid a stipend of $2,400 as compensation for their work
