The UMBC Shriver Center has MANY PAID INTERNSHIPS available for ALL majors this Summer and we still need students to fill them.
Internships are important to obtain admission to graduate school and to find a position after graduation. You gain experience and can also earn 3 credits by interning 8 to 10 hours per week.
Once you meet with a coordinator, we will send your resume to organizations that interest you. In other words, we'll do the employer outreach on your behalf.
IN ORDER TO GET STARTED, PLEASE:
1) Make an appointment with a coordinator. Stop by the Shriver Center office (1st floor UMBC Public Policy Building) or call 410-455-2493 to schedule the appointment. The appointment will take no longer than half an hour.
