The position will be to help maintain Glazer-Kennedy's web presence. That includes building web pages/sites for events, products, webinars, etc. Day-to-day work includes maintaining a membersite and any other projects that we have on the production calendar.
Since GK a somewhat small business, the web development team also acts as a psuedo tech department. There are always other odds-n-ends. GK does some audio editing, some video editing, video posting, graphics building, page design, etc. Whatever goes on the web can easily fall onto the web development plate.
Some experience in any or all of the following is beneficial and considered viable (in order of preference):
- strong PHP experience
- strong HTML & CSS experience
- moderate experience with Content Managers (Drupal, Joomla, etc)
- moderate Linux server maintenance experience (not a requirement, but a plus)
- familiar with JavaScript
- basic knowledge of Photoshop/Fireworks (or the like) for creating graphics
- basic page design/graphic design experience
- any experience converting and/or hosting video on a webpage
- any experience with ActionScript
