The Erickson Retirement Communities marketing and creative team is looking for a seasonal and/or part time intern to assist the Web and New Media team with assistance with developing and updating an online portfolio of web work. The ideal candidate with have minimal technical experience working with the web, good verbal and written skills, strong copy writing skills and a strong desire to work in a creative and collaborative environment. Anyone looking for agency-like experience in a corporate marketing environment is encouraged to apply. Position is paid $11/hour and is located in Linthicum.
The ideal candidate will perform the following specific duties and have the following skills sets:
-Using the Wordpress content management tool to help update an internal marketing blog.
-Cropping and resizing photos using Adobe Photoshop.
-Writing copy based on project descriptions and review.
-Assisting with Web Analytics reporting using tools such as Google Analytics and Webtrends.
-Assisting with online usage and search engine marketing reporting using Microsoft Excel and Word.
