RFID Internships available at Leonard Paper

Do you have an interest in a hands-on position learning about and working with RFID technology? Leonard Paper Company has the perfect position for you!

Leonard Paper Company is a sixty-five year old privately owned and operated company. As the leading regional distributor of paper supplies and cleaning products, Leonard Paper Company is posed for expansion after decades of steady growth. We are looking for a sharp, enthusiastic candidate to bring innovation and technical expertise to the management of our 6,000 plus item inventory. This project will offer a real business world opportunity to design and apply IT solutions.

Position Description:

The intern will manage the company’s Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) project. This will include concept development, planning and design, selection of hardware and software, testing and full implementation. The intern will serve as project manager of the VMI initiative and work directly with Leonard Paper Company management. The job description can be modified to meet curriculum requirements and evolve with the candidate’s input and proficiencies. Candidate will have access to one of the top RFID experts in the United States as a mentor. This project can involve a single student or team of students.
