Special Peace Corps Event on Campus this Thurs. 11/13

This Thursday, November 13th, The Shriver Peaceworker Fellows Program is sponsoring a unique opportunity to hear from one of the Peace Corps founders, Bill Josephson, author of the Towering Task (the blueprint for the original Peace Corps) and lifelong friend of Sargent Shriver. Mr. Josephson will be presenting his ideas for a 21st Century Peace Corps as we transition to new national leadership in this critical historical moment.

Mr. Josephson is also a leading expert on the Electoral College, so it will be highly interesting to learn his thoughts on the election over a week after the vote. Volunteers from one of the Shriver Center service sites, College Gardens, will be also recognized through the connection of the Macht Foundation. There will be a dessert reception afterwards.

No need to RSVP - just come to the 7th floor of the Library at 7pm on Thursday, November 13th, 2008!
