Do you want to spread the word about your major and get more people excited about it? Do you wish more people could truly enjoy their majors, like you do? We are currently organizing a service project where college students would travel to local schools and host a "major fair," where middle and high school students can walk around and talk to college students (such as yourself) about what exactly it means to be a particular major.
We want representatives from a diverse and varied fields ranging from anthropology to computer engineering. We are looking for undergraduate sophomores and juniors (with hopes to build this program in the next few years) to volunteer to help with this project. These volunteers should be passionate about their majors, and should be able to speak thoroughly to what being that major entails (what courses are required, what you can do with that major, etc.). If you are interested in helping out, please contact Richard Blissett at firstname.lastname@example.org.
