Paid Web Internship!

Brookes Publishing, a scholarly publishing company in Towson (just north of Baltimore), has a new opportunity and immediate need for a paid Web Intern to assist with a number of website projects. Brookes publishes highly respected books and other resources in early childhood, early intervention, inclusive and special education, developmental disabilities, learning disabilities, literacy, communication and language, behavior, and mental health. Our titles range from graduate level textbooks, professional references, and practical handbooks to curricula, assessment tools, and family guidebooks and videos. We're proud of our company's independence and long commitment to delivering high quality content to human services professionals. Applicants can visit www.brookespublishing.com to learn more about our company.

Intern pay starts at $8.00 an hour, the M-F hours are flexible up to 20 hrs a week, and we also will structure internships for credit.

This new hand-on project focused internship requires a mix of early design and web programming skills, and keen attention to detail. We are hoping to fill the position as soon as possible. We know we will need the intern through the end of May (or spring semester) and expect that the position could extend through the summer.
