American Red Cross Presidential Internship Program

The American Red Cross Presidential Internship Program runs for a total of 10 weeks from June 1st to August 7th and offers positions in almost every department at the American Red Cross national headquarters. The interns matched with a specific department have the opportunity to work on advancing critical projects for the respective units, receive professional development training, and are offered many opportunities to meet with Red Cross Senior Leadership.

For the Presidential Internship Program, students must apply by March 11, 2009. Instructions are available on the Presidential Internship Program website at www.redcross.org, Giving and Getting Involved / Make a difference / Youth / Presidential Internship.

Qualifications:
Open to all undergraduate, graduate students and recent graduates (who graduated the semester prior to start of internship) eligible to work in the U.S. All eligible candidates must be able to work at headquarters in Washington, DC.

Pay: $440 - 800 / week
