RWD Help Desk Intern:
Provide end user desktop computer support. Monitor and test resolutions to make sure issues are resolved adequately.
Test and evaluate new hardware. Provide support for ongoing ITS projects and upgrades.
Required Credentials:
Excellent written, oral and interpersonal skills with the
ability to present ideas effectively in business-friendly and user-friendly language, combined with strong listening and questioning skills Must possess a very strong customer service orientation
Knowledge of technology trends related to desktop-level user support Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Windows XP and Microsoft Office applications Familiarity with technologies such as Active Directory, VPN, Remote Desktop, Windows Server, Exchange Server, SharePoint Server, and Mobile Devices
Ability to conduct research into a wide range of computing issues as required Demonstrated problem solving abilities and keen attention to detail with the ability to absorb and retain information quickly Highly self-motivated and directed with ability to work in a team-oriented collaborative environment
