Life Science R&D Internship with BD

Internship Description:
* Produce and test fluorescent reference standards for life science diagnostic test equipment. The intern will be responsible to follow protocols in a chemistry laboratory to generate fluorescence reference standards requiring general life science laboratory skills. Working knowledge of analytical methods and data analysis is required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Follow protocols in a chemistry laboratory to generate fluorescent reference materials.
* Design and Conduct tests of fluorescent reference materials to characterize physical properties under a range of environmental conditions.
* Analyze test data and Generate summary reports of tests conducted on materials.

Qualifications
Educational Requirements:
* Chemistry, Biology or Materials Science course work required
* Quantitative or Analytical Chemistry coursework desired
* Completed sophomore year in college

Experience Requirements:
Proficiency in MS Office required.
