The Shriver Center is currently seeking Service-Learning Interns for the Fall 2009 semester. Interns play a pivotal role in The Shriver Center's Service-Learning Program, which places close to 600 UMBC students each year at service sites. Service-Learning Interns are student leaders who aspire to take on a more challenging role to lead various service sites. The S-L Intern position offers numerous opportunities for personal and professional development, as well as linkages to future leadership positions at UMBC and beyond. Each S-L Intern position receives a $500-750 stipend for the semester, depending on the service site.
