The Shriver Center currently has ONE Service-Learning Intern position open for the Fall 2009 semester. Interns play a pivotal role in The Shriver Center's Service-Learning Program, which places close to 600 UMBC students each year at service sites. Service-Learning Interns are student leaders who aspire to take on a more challenging role to lead various service sites. A Service-Learning Intern position is open for this service site:
• The College Gardens Youth Program provides academic tutoring and assistance for artistic and recreational activities as part of this after-school program. (Tuesday & Thursday, 2:15-5:45pm).
Each S-L Intern position receives a $500-750 stipend for the semester, depending on the service site. Only one open position remains, so apply now for a chance to become a leader in service!
