The Installation & Logistics (I&L) Intern Programs are the National Security Agency's (NSA) newest programs for careers in the Project Management and Electrical, Power, Mechanical, and Civil Engineering field.
This program provides opportunities for individuals pursuing a Bachelor's degree, in college-level Electrical, Power, Mechanical and/or Civil Engineering, to gain valuable work-related experience in a government setting. The program has direct involvement with selected NSA Facilities construction/renovation projects using Engineering expertise that will support plant operations, infrastructure planning, design development, standards application, project management services, and design drawing assistance.

About the Program
As an I&L Intern, you will be hired on a Temporary Appointment for a term no more than 12 weeks following the beginning of the internship. The program will consist of direct involvement with selected NSA Facilities construction/renovation projects from design through construction, commissioning, activation and occupancy. You will also be involved in ensuring that projects run according to schedule, are cost effective, and meet customer objectives.
Salary
Students are paid a competitive salary commensurate with their education level.
Qualifications
Must be a U.S. citizen
Must be eligible to be granted a security clearance
A cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale is preferred
Must possess strong written and oral communication skills
Eligible to obtain a high-level security clearance
Must have reliable transportation to and from work
