Paid full-time summer internships in the multimedia and entertainment industry

The T. Howard Foundation is now accepting applications for PAID summer 2010 internships!

The T. Howard Foundation is a non-profit organization that partners with some of the largest companies in the world to provide paid full-time summer internships in the multimedia and entertainment industry to minority and female students.

Partners include companies such as AOL, Comcast, DIRECTV, Discovery,
ESPN, HBO, Lifetime, Rainbow Media, Time Warner Cable, Turner Network Sales, Showtime and many more! These companies work with the T. Howard Foundation because they are committed to increasing ethnic and gender diversity in the multimedia and entertainment industry workforce.

Foundation partner companies need students from ALL academic majors for various positions within their organizations. Our students are placed in a variety of departments including
Accounting, Digital Media, Engineering, Finance, Government Affairs, IT, Marketing, Production, Public Relations, Sales and many others. There is no minimum GPA required to apply. Since 1995, the Foundation has placed almost 450 interns in full-time paid summer internships. With your assistance, we expect to place at least 50 more interns in 2010.

There is no fee to apply for a T. Howard Internship. In addition to the valuable professional experience and networking opportunities, Foundation interns earn a minimum of $10-12 per hour and receive complimentary travel and lodging to a two-day orientation in Washington, DC.

The application is available online at "www.t-howard.org" and the
deadline is December 1, 2009.
