Hours/Shift: Flexible; up to 150 hours with option for additional contracting opportunities. This is a remote position. The successful candidate will work offsite and set personal hours. There will be no requirement to report to an office.
The O'Ferrall Group (OFG) Overview:
OFG is a business development and public relations firm. Research and database development is a new and expanding service offered by OFG in an effort to provide deeper information for our clients. Our goal is to provide information and content that can be leveraged for our client’s business development efforts.
Responsibilities:
1.Researches and enters data based on established criteria - 80%
2.Develops formats and strategies for acquiring information with partners - 15%
3.Present and position information for distribution - 5%
Internal Working Relationships:
Chairman - Go-to person for daily direction on purpose and objectives
and deliverables
CCO - Will provide client perspective and content expertise
External Working Relationships:
Government Agencies
- Contacting for known companies to populate database
Private Government Contractors
- Primarily to develop sought criteria for vetting small businesses that are of interest
Vendors
- May need to seek additional sources of data.
Qualifications:
• In the process of earning Bachelors degree
• Knowledgeable about and comfortable using multiple programs, including html, javascript, Dreamweaver, Flash, Fireworks or Photoshop, and vTiger and other database collecting and presenting software.
Preferred:
• Familiar with learning management systems
• Earned Instruction Technology Certificate
