NASA is looking for a communications student with a strong interest in Web publishing and multimedia for their newsroom to help tell NASA Science stories. They want to reach new audiences through online media. The potential candidate would have available clips, strong writing and web skills as well as good news judgment. This is a part-time position of 20-24 hours per week during the school year. It is full-time during summers and breaks and can lead to continuing experience. NASA will participate in for-credit performance reviews as well as offer regular coaching and one-on-one mentorship for the duration of your experience. Owning a laptop a plus.
Journalism, writing, new media, online publishing, networking, multi-media, Office suite, Flash, CMS, Final Cut, Creative Suite, skills are all a plus.
