Summer Internships with the US Energy Information Administration

The U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA), the Nation’s premier source of independent energy information, invites qualified students, both undergraduate and graduate, to apply for a summer internship at our headquarters in Washington, D.C. In
addition to gaining valuable quality work experience, EIA summer interns will have the opportunity to meet with senior-level EIA officials and congressional staff, as well as participate in several networking activities (including off-site field trips) that will greatly enhance their understanding of the energy industry.

In your position as an EIA Summer Intern you will:
• Assist with data analysis and forecasting.
• Develop and design modeling systems, surveys or reports.
• Research trends and issues in domestic and international energy markets.
• Participate in Web site content development.

Requirements:
• You must be a United States citizen.
• You must be enrolled and have good standing in an accredited four-year college or university.
• You must be a rising sophomore, junior, senior or graduate student.
• Majors include: Engineering, Economics, Information Systems, BTA, Computer Science

Salary: $5,200.00 – $9,500.00 for 10-week program
