Project HEALTH is Recruiting Volunteers for Fall!

UMBC Project HEALTH is looking for more volunteers! We are a national non-profit organization whose mission is to break the link between poverty and poor health. Working at St. Agnes Hospital,Project HEALTH focuses on connecting public resources such as food, healthcare, and energy assistance to those low-income families in order to improve health outcomes.

UMBC Project HEALTH is recruiting for the Fall 2010. We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated volunteers who can commit the maximum of 5 hours/week and want to learn about health and socioeconomic issues in our society and to make a positive impact on people's lives.

To learn more about Project HEALTH, we welcome you to attend one of these upcoming Information Sessions:

Friday (9/3/10): 12-1p in Commons 329
Wednesday (9/8/10): 12-1p PUP 107
Thursday (9/9/10): 4-5p in PUP 107
Friday (9/10/10): 12-1p in Commons 329

In addition, we are handing out FREE ICE CREAM on Tuesday (9/7/10) in the Breezeway (outside the Commons) from 11:30-1:30p.
