This Fall semester, The Shriver Center will be providing transportation to the Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter on Saturdays from 10am-1pm. UMBC student Kelly Cyr will be driving a van to BARCS on Saturday mornings during this time, and interested students should contact The Shriver Center at 410.455.2493 to register for the BARCS site and secure their spot in the van.
All students who participate in BARCS and utilize the Shriver Van for transportation to the site will be enrolled in the 096 Practicum, which enables students to receive a transcript notation that recognizes their participation in university-sanctioned community service.
