Volunteer to help tutor adolescents and adults who are working to obtain their GED or other educational goals. Tutors are needed to assist with basic literacy support (reading/writing) and problem-solving/critical thinking components (math).
Transportation is provided on Tuesday mornings from 9:30am-12:30pm and Thursday evenings from 5pm-8:30pm. If you are interested in volunteering on these days, please stop by The Shriver Center on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday from 9-4pm to talk with a Coordinator. If you want to volunteer, but not on these days, let us know – other volunteer times are available!
