Intern Position Reopened at Space Science Telescope

Space Telescope Science Institute (STScI) announces an opportunity for a highly motivated undergraduate student to provide content management/migration resources for the STScI Website Redesign Project. A student could work up to 16 hours per week. There is an hourly stipend of $13 per hour and flexible work schedules available.

STScI is redesigning the primary website. A major cost area for this effort will be with migrating web content from the existing site to the new site’s page templates. The intern resource will need to become familiar with the existing website and underlying structures and then to work within the project team to port content into the new pages.

Qualified candidates will be actively working towards an information management or computer science degree. Direct experience with website design/development and/or content management is desirable. Experience with html (preferably html5) is required and with a web content management system is strongly preferred.

The Space Telescope Science Institute is located on Johns Hopkins University Homewood campus and offers a stimulating work environment. Interested candidates are requested to complete an on-line application and attach a resume.
