Adult Literacy Volunteers Needed

The Adult Literacy Program is a program at The Learning Bank that provides one-on-one tutoring to adults in a broad range of subjects, ranging from literacy skill development to math skill building, and GED preparation.

The Shriver Center's Service-Learning program is offering a great opportunity for students to get involved with the Adult Literacy Program this spring: Sign up as a Volunteer on Thursdays from 5:00pm-8:30pm.

Transportation is provided for students who enroll through the Service-Learning program. As a volunteer, you will receive a Service-Learning notation on your transcript.

All students interested in volunteering with the Adult Literacy Program should contact Camille Vu (cvu1@umbc.edu) for more information. Hurry - spots are filling up fast and the last day to register is March 2nd!
